| Autoren: | RUTH, K. | Titel: | Industrial Culture - An Action-Oriented View at Innovation and Production. | Abstract: | In this article the industrial culture approach is elaborated further by referring to so far developed micro- and macrotheoretical components. The paper seizes current debates on national innovation systems, economic culture and social constructivist approaches in technology design, and relates them to the macro and micro concepts of industrial culture. The emphasis lies upon filling up the gap between culture and production/innovation. By referring to a concept of (real) technology, „action" is carried out as the missing (and mediating) link between industrial culture and production. Thus socio-technical action systems are perceived as a medium for adopting industrial cultural values as well as for transfering the latter into action orientations. The occuring processes of institutionalization and internalization are assumed to be dialectically interwoven. | Herausgeber: | Rasmussen, L.; Rauner, F. | Buch/Zeitschriftname: | Industrial Cultures and Production - Understanding Competitiveness | Verlag: | Springer Verlag | Ort: | Berlin, London | Jahr: | 1996 | Jhrg.: | | BdNr.: | | HeftNr.: | | Seitenzahl: | | ISBN/ISSN: | | Preis: | 5,00 DM | BestellNr.
